This American Engineer Railroad Journal issue has over 70 pages of information on nothing but railroad advertisments, builder's drawings and more. Every page is full of collectible railroad memorabilia. It measures 12 x 9 inches, some cover repairs were made, other than that it is in excellent condition. Vinatge Bessemer & Lake Erie RR Ruler Vintage wood ruler from the Bessemer and Lake Erie Railroad Company, Freight Traffic Department, 611 Union Truct Building, Pittsburgh 30, PA. The ruler is 15 inches long with a milage Map Route of the Railroad on the backside as pictured in 4 seperate photos.The map starts at zero Mile point at Erie PA and travels 170 miles to the city of Wyle at the Monongahella River. Not sure of the exact date of the ruler, but we are sure it's from the 194o/50s. Small wood chip splinter at edge of one end, other than that its in exceelnt condition. 1910 N.Y.O & W Red Globe Railroad Lantern Original New York, Ontario & Western Railroad red Globe Kerosene Lantern manufactured by DIETZ VESTA of New York. The patented dates that are stamped on the top rim of the lantern are as follows, July 30-07, May 4-09, June 1-09 and Dec 18-10. Under those date there is also a marking S-12-25. Going by the last patented date, we are dating the lamp to 1910. Also stamped on the top rim is N.Y.O&W. The red globe glass has molded in it the DIETZ VESTA NEW YORK USA and also what looks like a letter N connected to a letter X in a horseshoe type symbol. The lantern is in very good to excellent condition condidering it is almost 100 years old. Very clean, no rust and it does work well. Overall height of the lantern with handle is almost 16 inches high, 10 inches without metal handle.

Caboose Desk Lamp with Shade Made from a plaster mold and all hand painted, this beautiful Caboose Desk Lamp would compliment any Railroad collectors desk. The lamp measures 11 inches long by 6 inches deep and 17 inches high with the shade on. It has a 3 way light switch that can hold a Max of 150 Watts. The shade is made of a material straw type weave which compliments the styling of this lamp beautifully. It was used very slightly and is in like new condition. Please note that the color of the caboose roof is BLACK and shows up as a lighter color due to the light from the flash and the lamp. These lamps retail brand new for over $130.00.
