This is an original New Photo of Max Baer dated March 22, 1934 taken in Roseville California. Shown in the photo is Kid Frank Harlow taking a shot at the Champs Chin. Just 12 weeks after this photo was taken, Max went into the ring with Primo Carnera on June 14, 1934 for the Heavtweight Title of the World. Max Baer floored Carnera 11 times before the referee stopped the fight in the 11th round. Photo is in very good condition measuring 6 1/2 x 8 1/2 inches. Some small creases at edges. The photo is very original and from the personal collection of a Veteran Boxer in New York with the News Stamp on back. |
